The Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum traditionally organizes 2 conferences every year:
- International Annual Conference on the museum's birthday on February 2,
- Conference on International Museum Day in May.
The conferences feature presentations by museum researchers and guests from other Latvian and foreign museums. The conferences are broadcast on the museum's Facebook and YouTube accounts, and after the conference, the presentations are posted and available on the museum's YouTube account.
